All program participants must complete 20 hours of classroom observation to be recommended for an eligibility license.  You may contact ANY ACCREDITED Virginia public school division and arrange your 20-hour observation experience. Note: Participants are recommended to observe a minimum of 3 exemplary teachers in any endorsement area you seek.  Observation experiences may occur in multiple schools or school divisions.  Verification of your observation experience is required (see Classroom Observation Report Form).  Contact WVPEC office for additional information or if you need a letter verifying enrollment in the Career Switcher program.

NOTE:  Individual school divisions may require a criminal background check and/or TB test prior to placement in a classroom for observations.
