A primary source of information is the National Clearinghouse for Educational Facilities (NCEF).  The U.S. Department of Education sponsors this organization to provide free information to all school systems.  NCEF can be reached by phone (888-552-0624) or e-mail (ncefinfo@edfacilities.org).
